And there was much more...sparkles in the snow blanketing the woods, animal tracks, the remains of an old brick building, an unidentified insect crawling on the snow, a lovely human couple we chatted with, and best of all, JZ's company.

We hiked the path above Quarry Rock and we went much further today than I did alone earlier in the week.  After our 2 hour hike, I went below to the Quarry Rock parking area by the river and carefully made my way down to the river.  It was beautiful seeing the majestic icicles and hearing the water flowing.
