A Chilly Lunchtime Walk

The sun did shine this morning, but soon clouded over, and then light snow showers for the rest of the day.  A cold wind again, always feels colder when it thaws. 

I've had a day working from home.  Mam and dad popped by at lunchtime, and we headed out for a walk.  More walkies this evening, but mostly feet up by the fire. 

The air has a feel of a big thaw coming, and the forecast is saying similar.  I'm sure there's an old saying about when the thaw starts, it always feels colder, well that certainly feels like it today.  I did get the snow I wished for, and it has settled longer than previous years, more like old winters past.  With the nights getting lighter, we can hope for an early spring.  Looking over a chilly New Street and castle, Scalloway.
