Rabble!!!

The water on the Lough was very rough this afternoon, and the group of gulls were in and out of the waves. There have been very strong winds over the past few days but today was particularly blustery.
Way back in July we ordered a gazebo for the garden, the delivery and build was hoped to be within 4 - 6 weeks, well, 6 months on, it was booked to be built last Monday. The builders took one look at the garden and said that the pavers on the patio would need to be securely cemented in place, especially because of the site and the strength of the wind. So on Monday, instead of erecting the gazebo, they cemented the pavers in place and another date was in place for the build, today :-) . They arrived this morning and, as we had suspected, took one look in the garden and said that it was too windy to complete the build today. We're now hoping that the wind has died down by Monday and it will be third time lucky. Fingers crossed!!
