Brighter and Brighter
We started our Pentlands walk from round about Silverburn. It was a little dull when we set off, with a touch of snow in the air, but goodness me what a great day it turned into! ( see blue sky in extra)
This was a new walk for us with a steady climb up along a farm track, before turning into the right to walk the kips. It was deep snow for going upwards and pure ice for coming down-tricky. There were also snow boarders and skiers everywhere-something I had not seen before in the Pentlands.
Here is 'A' on West Kip-which I must say felt like a proper ridge today.
All seems a bit of a dream now.
