On thin ice

As neither of us were working today Martin and I went for a longer walk up to the water tower on Rivey Hill.  Happily the mud had turned solid as it was so cold, but unhappily the stream that usually runs down the side of the path seems to have taken over the path and frozen.  It was like glass and very slippery.

Beers and an Indian takeaway are planned for this evening (even though it is Chinese New Year).  Happy Friday everyone.
