Sunshine, moss and lichen

Went for a walk with a dear friend in the wooded valley near her house, right in the city of Bristol. Nightingale Valley it’s called.  Grey and gloomy when we set off, the sun came out on our way back, and the world changed.  It looked like spring but it’s been below freezing all day.
