Peeping though

We went for a drive in the country this morning to a farmstall which had been recommended. It was uncomfortably hot and very little shade!
On the way home I just had to stop and talk to these lovely miniature horses (?) Not sure if they are, but they were very small, smaller than Shetland ponies. Of course they were looking for a snack which I didn't have.....
The heat today has been extreme, too hot to do anything energetic.
Weekend again, just hoping for cooler weather.
