Hole in clouds

Very fresh day with high winds, quite hard to stand up against but then I stopped and looked up at the sky and noticed two wind streams, the lower clouds were being propelled from the east and that wind was really strong. The higher clouds were being scooted in from the north west! Fascinating to watch for a short while as it was as I said very fresh. Home to plant some primroses which hopefully will feed the slugs in preference to the peony!
Update! The east wind won and kept blowing and cleared the sky so there was a fair amount of sun this afternoon! A large number of white horses on the sound, not a common occurrence!
