Our 'mountain' town

The town of Kendal with the snowy fells of the Kentmere valley in the background. I've been lucky to live in many mountain towns in America, Japan, Nepal, Switzerland and Austria. Mountains are just my thing and on the days I can see the snow covered ones of the Lake District, it always, always floods me with joy. A break from work at lunch time today to get up high with a friend was what we both needed, grateful it's on our doorstep.
