A smattering of snow

We did have snow this evening after all, and this is an abstracted version of the view from my window into the garden next door.  The snow is not sticking to the ground, however, but melting, which could lead to the possibility of black ice in the morning.

The meat loaf is nearly ready to go into the oven.  I added some carrots this time, so it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
