Impromptu ski slope

No more snow since yesterday but with temperatures dipping to -15C during the night the snow is going nowhere.  Long icicles  are hanging from the roof and window sills where there has been some snow melt.

This view from our bedroom window looking up to Hill of Tarvit shows that local skiers and children with sledges have been making interesting tracks on the steep hillside but without ski tows I can imagine getting up was hard work.
