the light shone through ...

A late walk - today seems to have disappeared . 
I had a lovely long phone chat with a friend, did some cooking, and further explored camera and editing tools on my laptop.
It has been another very beautiful day - the garden has so many bird and animal tracks in the snow - I especially enjoyed the heron footprints ! they looked so big . Poor creature would be looking for water but everything is frozen over. J saw the heron yesterday taking it's time exploring the garden. 
I am reading a book called 'The Snow Child ' by Eowyn Ivey given to me at Christmas. it is beautifully written.
