Water patterns

Not such a pretty one today, but interesting.   The foamy scum formed in this small pond has formed patterns that include an isolated flower shaped one at top right, which was rotating by itself!   Strange - I don't think I've ever seen anything quite like this before.  The rest of the creek was running with clear water.
