Freezing!

Today hardly anything defrosted dexcept for things in direct sunlight and some of those still stayed frozen.
It was wicked cold as the wind was quite strong and felt like it was coming out of a huge freezer.
I headed for a little woodland area which I've not been to recently although it's close to home.
It was a number of degrees warmer in the trees even though they are mostly leafless.
Had to backtrack a couple of times due to impassable stretches of frozen water which I could not tell the depths of so was not risking walking across!
Lovely to see the sunshine. First time for ages that I've worn my walking boots instead of wellies.
Feeling warm with the central heating on and thankful we have this.
