Shadow Play

The temperature today was well below zero, but there was no wind and the sun shone, so it actually felt quite pleasant, as long as you kept your gloves on.

We had to go to Gala, so came back by the scenic route and I stopped at Bowden Loch to take pictures of the Belties in the snow. But they weren't co-operating, so I finished up with this selfie. The Eildons looked magnificent, and the light was so clear that we could see the footprints of a few hardy souls who had trekked up to the tops.

C is still in hospital, but is feeling a bit better. There's nothing we can do but hope.
