Another Sunrise

Beautiful sunrise from the front garden! The temperature was up above zero for the first time for what seems like weeks, but it didn't feel very warm.


Although it sounds a bit heartless, I decided to clip Lottie today. She's getting very matted these days, having to be towelled dry after every snowy walk, and she hates having the tats brushed out. It takes a while, first with scissors then the clippers and then scissors again, and lots of treat during the process, followed by a little piece of chicken afterwards!

While the fruit cake was finishing cooking in the oven, I took took the newly sheared little Lottie for a walk up the hill and round the cliffs. The snow is slowly turning to slush so I wanted to make the most of it!

Lottie is looking a real bobby dazzler, but I shall save a photo of her for tomorrow's treat!
