Greenfinch

Today we had our first bit of snow; not enough for snowballs or snowmen, but enough to flavour the photos of birds taken from the warmth of the kitchen.  Outside temperature was around freezing but windchill made it feel minus 8; so after the necessary walking of dogs, it was indoors for me.
