Ice

Very cold last night. The garden was frosty and the pond had frozen over in interesting patterns as in blip.  OH decided to go to the office.  
Needed a change of scene so headed to the market.  It was extremely quiet in town.  Possibly the freezing temperatures deter shoppers.  Returned for what was meant to be a quick walk given the cold but bumped into a fellow dogwalker and we spent a while standing and chatting before walking.
Continued a drawing I'm working on until natural light made it difficult. Then read for a while. 
Now after posting and commenting will enjoy another Spiral episode while th3 hound sends up zzzz on the sofa beside me.
