Fascinated with the high

He’s nearly thirty, but when he’s sleeping,

I see the three year old.

He smells the same.

Nothing has changed.

And when I woke him; 

he still had the sleepy eyes that he had when he was wee.  

He blinked several times trying to figure out where he was.

And I was back in 1994.
