Blue Tit

When we first moved here we were so sad that there were no birds in the garden.  We hung out seeds and peanuts for at least two months before the first Tit arrived.  We tried the feeders in different places around the garden and finally got success near some thick bushes that the birds could use for protection.  Rural birds are much more shy than town birds.  Unfortunately the bushes are at the far end of the garden where I can only see the birds through binoculars.  I decided to see if I could tempt them closer.  This feeder has been up on the window for about 10 days, and today it had its first visitor, that cheeky chappie the Blue Tit of course.  I hope word will get around :-)
