Flowers in the Snow

I started proof reading early this morning and by 0830 hours Victoria had her work returned ready to do the corrections and submit it. The Ocado lorry arrived with the groceries, swiftly followed by my Riverford organic vegetable box.
 
Then I finished off one of the squares, so now two are complete, only forty-six more to go! Fortunately they do not take long to knit, but sewing them all together will be rather a lengthy business.
 
Today’s picture is of some bedraggled polyanthus flowers in the snow. The snow is slowly going, but with these temperatures it might take a while.
 
The temperature at noon was zero degrees Celsius and that is the highest it would get. By1400 hours is was already minus two.
