Incinerator tower @ Lincoln county
And......... Still here, at least we have a bit more progress, a growth has been collected and tested against the available antibiotics the NHS has to offer, only one has an effect on the bacteria, but its an antibiotic Joe is already on with his treatment ??
Still the QMC at Nottingham are calling the shots as they are the main hospital treating Joe for his leukaemia, being transferred to them tomorrow for removal of his Hickman line, the cause of the problem, seems the Bacterial growth is hiding in there somewhere and the only way to fix the problem is to take it away completely. Fingers crossed it'll be the last of Joes repetitive hospital visits ??
Anyway, blip wise I've done an outdoor blip this time, fed up of corridoor shots :/
This is the view outside the rainforest ward in the outdoor rest area, complete with view of the hospitals incinerator tower, a huge looming tower that looks like it's original brickwork at the bottom half but recently restored nearer the top ? Perhaps a much needed restructure to avoid possible collapse ?
I dread to think how hot the main burner gets in there, I'm guessing 1000oc, to burn the stuff they have to ??
