Mission House at Mangungu

on the Hokianga Habour.
On 12 February 1840 the third largest number of Maori Chiefs signed the Treaty of Waitangi at this Mission House. Each year on the 12 February (which is tomorrow) this significant event is commemorated, Had we known we would have put off our visit until tomorrow.
