Ice patterns

Waking up to a frozen Marina was amazing! There are ice patterns everywhere, this one is down by the river. Woodpeckers and other birdcalls filled the air on my walk this morning.

In the fear of freezing I got up a few times in the night to stoke the fire. On one instance I poked my head out the window and it was a beautiful clear starry night. Grateful to be able to live this life.
