Edinburgh clouds....

I obviously jinxed the moon's appearance by saying yesterday that my mission was to blip it tonight!

Far too cloudy to even catch a glimpse of it - but I decided to head up Blackford Hill after work anyway, just to see if there was a chance of a blip.

Turns out it was a lovely night to be up there, no wind, almost warm (for Feb) - just a shame the sky wasn't clearer.

Anyway, here you have a night time view of part of the city and Arthur's Seat. The bright white lights to the right of the photo are of Meadowbank, where there was obviously something on tonight.

I also like the light trail from the plane, heading down from the clouds, over Arthur's Seat.

It looks pretty good when you go LARGE too!
