Historic House....!!

I decided to walk to the fish shop today as it was such a beautiful blue sky sunny day.....still brain freeze though..!
The walk is fairly short..literally just over the old railway bridge behind our house...and we pass this iconic building every time so today in the sunshine I decided to take the photo...
It’s not a great photo...but if you look to the left of it you can see the building of a ‘modern monstrosity ‘ the extension of an hotel which is just further along the street in town..the Christian Brothers who own this building ( now a retirement and care home for the few men that are left)! ..objected to the renovation and held out for quite awhile but eventually gave in and sold this house to the hotel...the hotel owners have pledged to keep this house as it is as part of their new plans..
I hope they do.!
