The stumps and the start.

This may not seem much to look at but this is the start of the building process for our next units. A small step but the start of things to be done . These were two apple trees which have been removed to make way for the buildings. We will be creating a completely new orchard as we need to remove 6 more trees before we are finished. Mr Tbay Jnr felled and cut up the trees and hauled the logs away. Good job done.

Life will start to become more stressful as the project begins to start in earnest. Unlike our last build there are numerous new regulations which we have to adhere to. Mr Tbay is now working with a specialist to complete our Breeam   certification. We have done the environmental surveys which are fine. No rare newts or orchids here thank goodness. 

Another bitterly cold day again. Frozen water tanks and a very nippy wind.

Our immediate area has seen a really good fall in the number of Corona Virus cases which is encouraging. Mrs Tbay Jnr Mum os off to be vaccinated in the morning which is really good new for her. Can’t wait to get ours, but we will be a few weeks yet. I just cannot believe the people who are refusing the vaccine. the rubbish they will believe is truly staggering. But they walk amongst us...........
