Snow on the floods

Many of the fields around our village are still flooded but at least a dusting of snow overnight has changed the scene a bit. This scene could look very different in a few years time as there are plans to make it into a gravel pit. 
So this lovely tranquil site will be plundered by diggers and excavation equipment.  The fight goes on to save it...
