An Unexpected Waterfall

Lovely virtual coffee date with a colleague in Spain, followed by making a video for our church, now that I have a phone that can do it. The difficulty is remembering what you're actually trying to say when you're concentrating on getting  the technical side right.

Eventually got out to go buy a card reader in Reguengos as the one in my laptop seems to be giving up, but didn't find one. And croissants from Lidl, also run out.

But... got this photo of the old dam next to the road overflowing into the Lake, never seen that before. This dam belongs to the Misericórdia charity in Reguengos (though it's right next to Mourão) and was built around 1860 to power a mill to grind the flour for the charity. Not used for anything nowadays.

And so the trip was worth it.

Gratefuls:
- a warm dry home, though water is flowing out from under it...
- getting the video done, and a daughter who will sort it out for me
- a new broom, mop, dustpan and brush, and a holder for them, all of them red, exciting stuff
