Swanky wanky steps

I went to the London office today for the first time.

It's all minimal, spacious, clean and white with feature lighting and neon signs and table tennis tables and cool people in chunky specs drinking latte's and mulling over clever ideas.

And then there are these steps.

The pattern on them ensures that you have absolutely no idea what's pattern and what's step and then you almost kill yourself.
