Icicles

Where I live there is very little higher (I'm at 163m ASL) as you go due east until you get out towards Eastern Europe, with Anglia and the low lands in between. As a result in winter an easterly wind is bitterly cold.
This year though, this Beast from the East has not been as bad as it could have been, we've had a little snow, but not as much as many other places. I've even seen pictures on Facebook from London with more snow. Very strange.
