what a difference a day makes

Same spot as yesterday.  Streatham Common through the car window.  
Extra of our Elsa.  Yesterday it was 8 weeks since her leg op.  She had her post op xray and much to everyone's  shock and horror there was still a problem with her leg, so the vet had to perform further surgery.  
I can't begin to describe how upset I was yesterday.   I think I cried all day and got no wink of sleep last night.
Anyway, it seems to have gone well and we collected her this afternoon.  We are back to square one on recovery time.

I hasten to add that this setback was no fault of the vet nor our care of her.  The vet has only ever encountered this particular problem  before in cats and never in a dog.
