Peep-o in the snow

Little Miss B helped her Daddy build an igloo this morning. Here she is inspecting it after lunch to see how it had progressed while she was indoors. She seemed well impressed.

Making the most of the snow while it lasts, so it's rather taken over my blip journal this week. The Extra features our little one's Tombliboos - from BBC's Cbeebies In the Night Garden series. They were hoping to build a snow-tombliboo, but they were too cold and came in again. (The snow was also deeper than their height, so perhaps it was safer to stop while they were winning.)

Our daughter's garden has been very busy with birdlife today - mainly blackbirds, sparrows, blue tits, great tits, as well as one robin and a couple of starlings. Where were they on the bird count weekend?!
