every year with carnival, the Peperbus (the church tower here in the city) gets a face, and arms and a farmer's smock. he even gets a voice during the children's carnival. despite covid, he just gets his face this year too. because of the weather unfortunately not his arms and his keel. while I took the picture, children entered the market and you could hear them calling from afar: "the Pepperbus is back !!" great to hear because the child in me enjoys it as much as the children do. it remains special.
