Frozen Dawn

The sky was clear, the air was dry and several degrees below zero when the sun rose red above the horizon. There were more people than normal out on the trail to enjoy an early morning walk. Large icicles hung from the sides of the old railway tracks (see extra) to reinforce how unusually cold it is.
A good session this morning with Bill playing duets before our second walk of the day this afternoon. Ms. S has managed to book an appointment for a Covid vaccine this Saturday morning. It seems that if you know the number to ring you can get in early before your tier has been officially reached. Hopefully this is not because of low take-up by the over 70's.
