The frozen mermaid

Charles Wheeler's fountain sculpture in Trafalgar Square always looks beautiful. When frozen over she is something else.

The sun came out for a bit today so I took a long walk through St James's and into a very quiet West End.

I could feel the winter fuzziness lifting as the sun fell on my face.
