Wonderful walk this morning. 

Hetty soon worked out that she could run and then slide along some stretches of ice.

Long chat with new neighbour, Andy, who has replaced the Australian couple. He's been in hospital with a kidney stone. It transpired that there was covid on his ward so now he's isolating.  He's already had covid once. 

It's Alan funeral today. He was immensely popular and an employer so his hearse is doing the rounds.  It'll go along the Bath Road but I don't plan to watch. 

My Wednesday off and Nicola's birthday tomorrow and I'm making the cake so had better get on.
