Golden

I was awake when the sun was rising this morning and since it was very cold (below freezing) the sky was clear enough for some good photos.  This one shows a wide panorama of the view from my window.

Grocery pick-up today, and for once they had everything I'd ordered.  Still planning on making meatloaf, but it's already 5:00 and I'm not sure I'll have the energy.  I'll at least make a start.

The temperatures are plunging around here - daytime highs below freezing are forecast - and we're heading for a storm later in the week.  At least the cold means sun and fresher air, which is lovely to see from indoors.
