Bumbleberry

In give or take 3 hours I will be heading up north for the long holiday weekend. There will be Easter celebrations on both sides of the family which is always inconvienent because Easter is always on Sunday and Sunday is always a travel day, but what can ya do? You are looking at one of two Bumbleberry Pies I created this morning - one per family. Never heard of a bumbleberry? That's probably a good thing because there is no such thing as a bumbleberry. The pie is a mumble jumble of berries among other things: strawberries, blueberries, blackberries (a subsitution for raspberries in my case), rhubarb, and apples. There isn't really a bumbleberry standard so anything goes as long as it a mixture of berries.

Sadly, my 100th blip will come on my trip north which means no wonderfully creative 100 like so many others. I'm sure I can find something up my sleeve, but another wonderful photo may beat the good ol' 100. So it goes.
