Desnowing the car

Spent two hours desnowing the car and clearing the steps outside my building this afternoon. Knocked my neighbour’s door to check on her and had a quick chat while I shovelled the path. She was watching a film and said she felt guilty. We had a chat about how important it is not to beat ourselves up at the moment.

Got through a load of laundry this afternoon but then sat down with a cuppa to go through emails and didn’t quite get round to the baking I’d planned. More soup and a long soak in the bath beckons. All that snow shovelling has worn me out!
