St Nicks. On a VERY cold morning

Well very cold for here. no snow on the road or pavement. But hesitated to risk sliding around so decided to walk down to the Post Office to post a parcel (returning some shoes since you ask). also I feel badly about not getting outside. V poor. As I write this am still only up to 8319 steps. 

En route I cut off the corner by walking through St Nicholas churchyard. Which, whatever the weather is quiet and peaceful. Lovely - helps to restore the soul. The Church is shut sadly (Covid - that is what the posters on the doors say) but still, all helpful to the soul. I think that our souls need a bit of help just now.
