All Fingers and No Thumbs

These are the gloves I use on cold mornings when I go outside to feed the birds. They’ve seen better days but I’m very fond of them - I bought them in Edinburgh from a shop on the Royal Mile. They are fingerless but with a little pouch that goes over your fingers if needed - which it was today. I cut off part of the thumbs to make them suitable for photography, but when I came in today, although my fingers were warm, my thumbs were absolutely freezing.
