Ladybirds

I spotted these ladybirds nestling in my monkey puzzle tree this morning. It’s a well protected spot, these trees are surprisingly spiky. There are more round the corner but it’s hard to get a photo of them all at once. Otherwise I went for a longer walk in the snow flurries (see extra) and helped the loons finish building their nest on the jigsaw front.
