We had a terrific time today making this gingerbread house as gifted by the paternal Grandparents for Christmas and ideal for a lockdown half term. A highlight was the windows - we had to smash up some sweets with a rolling pin and they melted into a 'stained glass' effect.

I'm not sure our end result is quite professional standard, but it was fun and we'll be happy to eat it too in due course.

MrsCyclops and CyclopsJnr also had a meander around the golf course. There had been some ice so walking on the grass was ideal, and a sprinkling of snow so no one was golfing.
