Red Shank

Set off this morning with the long lens and binoculars for a walk around the estuary and a bit of birding. The light wasn't good for much of the walk but my bird list comprised of Red shank, Widgeon, Heron, Rock doves, Curlew, Oystercatcher, gulls and Mallard. It was freezing and my face was numb by the time we headed back home for a bacon and egg sandwich,
