Spotted on a fence post

Redilady decided that the ground was too icy for safe walking, so I left her baking a cake, while I put spikes on my walking boots and went for  a slushy amble across the meadows.
This character was on the first gatepost. The water levels have gone down a little so that it's possible to walk the main path without wellies if you don't mind your boots being ankle deep in the mud, which hadn't frozen as hard as I expected. Apart from that  it was a really pleasant walk,  mostly sunny and without the biting windthat we had yesterday.
