Two surprises today. First up, I discovered it was Tuesday! Whatever happened to Monday? That's the problem...1) of being retired, and 2) of the lockdown, when every day feels like Sunday. Anyway, I got up at 4 am to watch the cricket, and surprise 2 was the ease of England's victory.

Oh, Jimmy, Jimmy. I have to concede to my younger friends that Anderson may be as great as the great Brian Statham. To be compared with the incomparable....
