Blackbird and Robin
Darren’s day off so we had a circular walk around the reservoir. It’s very cold, lots of snow and slippy paths. I enjoyed my walk though, did quite a bit of running and sticking my nose in to the snow. Darren did take some photos of me, but he didn’t like them, a bit similar to photos he’s put up before so he decided to put up this photo he took of the birds near the bird feeders that somebody as put up alongside the reservoir path. They fill them up everyday and they attract quite a lot of different birds, Robins and blackbirds obviously, but also blue tits, great tits, coal tits, long tailed tits and goldfinches with the occasional bullfinch.
Darren liked this photo because it included the blackbird and Robin close together. It’s not the greatest photo in the world, but he thought it might be liked by his friend Sal, who as had a few down days and he knows she loves her birds, hopefully other people may like it too.
