Central Station

Decided on a day out to Glasgow today, so we hopped on a train and headed off. I took quite a few lot of pictures and after some deliberation I chose this one - which of course was the first one I took as we stepped on to the platform! (Have taken inspiration from btc and tried my hand at selective colouring)

We had a look round the Museum of Modern Art, but the only thing we liked were the coloured glass windows - what can I say, I like to look at something and know what it is without having to resort to the information to the side of it!

We also visited the People's Palace and Winter Gardens - a history of Glasgow and its people from 1750 through to the present day - very interesting. Will definitely need a second trip as we didn't get to see the Burell collection, the Kelvingrove art gallery or the Scotland Street School Museum (an early example of Charles Renee Mackintosh's architecture).

Was glad to get home though and kick off the shoes and put the kettle on!
