Nature's sitting room

I think park designers and urban geographers could learn a lot from studying how people use this tree.

Those of you who follow my Blip will have seen a number of photos of this particular tree already, when it was still standing, and as it was being taken down.

It now has a new purpose as park benches. It seems to exert an irresistible attraction on people of all ages and especially children.

Quite natural in lovely Spring weather like today.
